Back to School

September is ingrained in everyone’s minds as the back to School Time!  The summer holidays have flown by and it’s time to start afresh and get back into the classroom. Remember that teaching is more of a marathon than a sprint so it is the time to ease you back in gently. The year ahead will no doubt be filled with new challenges and new opportunities; it’s time to embrace these!

That being said, AML–Global is use to taking on multiple challenges each day. We have successfully completed numerous translation, transcription as well as interpreting assignments in wide variety languages like Spanish, Korean, Farsi, Arabic, Mandarin, Indonesian, Swedish, French, Vietnamese, Portuguese and many more. In keeping with the back to school theme we have worked with numerous local school districts, colleges and universities and private educational institution all over United States.

Recently, we did multiple translation assignment involving Korean and Farsi languages for Beverly Hills Unified School Districts. These assignments were translation of Tri-city Special Education Local Plan Area document. SELPA documents ensure that educational programs and services are provided to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Another translation project we completed this month was for Quinnipiac University. We translated multiple medical related documents from French to English. Another educational translation project we did was for DePaul University, We translated the document about The Amazon and society: Native Lands and policies from Spanish to English.

In addition to the excellent translation services we provide, American Language Services has also completed several interpreting projects for various school districts and universities all over United States. A notable recent job we completed was for Vista Unified School district in which we provided Portuguese interpreting services for IEP meeting and follow up parent- teacher conference.  Another set of projects was providing American Sign Language, Punjabi and Tagalog interpreting for Oxnard School District. American Sign Language (ASL) is a language that the demand is constantly growing very rapidly. AML-Global has one of the deepest resource databases of ASL interpreters in the U.S. to keep up with this ever increasing need.

Equity and Civil Rights is a very important element in the education industry. All schools are required to communicate with all parents, students, administrations and teachers in a language they all can understand. It can be a challenging situation but that is when the services provided by American Language services come in very handy.
