Labor Day

The first Labor Day parade occurred Sept. 5, 1882, in New York City. The workers’ unions chose the first Monday in September because it was halfway between Independence Day and Thanksgiving. The idea spread across the country, and some states designated Labor Day as a holiday before the federal holiday was created. As the entire country celebrates Labor Day, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the employees of American Language Services. We are proud to work with such a dedicated, talented, and hard-working group. You were all handpicked from among the best in the industry.

AML–Global has been doing an outstanding job in the translation and interpreting industry since it was founded over 30 years ago. We have successfully done business with many meeting planners and destination service providers through the years. Recently, we did a Spanish and Portuguese interpreting project for Access Destination Services; AML–Global supplied conference interpreters for the Red Hat Executive Partner Exchange bringing executives from around the world to exchange ideas over 2 days. We also provided them with necessary equipment like transmitters and headset & receivers, along with on-site technical support.

Another recent assignment we completed was for AWG destination services. At the conference, which was for a well know U.S. automaker, our interpreters needed to explain how the company interacts with its customers to how it designs, engineers, and manufactures its vehicles, the automaker’s goal is to provide the highest-quality overall experience in the industry. We provided them with our high level professional Spanish conference interpreting services; in addition to that we also provided them with sound reduction booths, headsets & receivers as well as with an on-site technician to ensure that the technology is functioning properly. Our on-site technicians are very experienced and properly trained to ensure they are familiar with their working environment as well as equipment.

In addition to our professional interpreter services, AML-Global can provide you with the interpreting equipment you will need for your event. This includes full conference equipment, such as fully encapsulated booths, semi-enclosed booths, headsets for your participants, transmitters, and a technician, as well as portable equipment for tours or mobile meetings. Whether you need interpreting equipment, interpreter services, or both, we can provide you with a free estimate for your project or event.

American Language Services stands the test of time in providing voice over, translation, interpretation, transcription and media services to private industry, government at all levels, and educational and non-profit organizations. Our thousands of linguists around the world and teams of dedicated professionals are ready to serve.
